A Spring Trip Meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 6th at 6 PM. Please attend this combined Board/Booster/Trip meeting. Make sure all needed paperwork has been turned in and come to hear the lates updates on the trip itenerary. Reminder your final trip payment is due Wednesday, February 15th. If you need a transfer from your student ledger for this payment, please turn in your transfer request by the Feb 6 meeting. Transfer request forms are available in the band room and on the website. Conbined Concert Fundraiser Band * Choir * Drama Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. Bella Vista High School Cafeteria Admission $10 Desserts, coffee and soft drinks available
Bring your family and friends!
At this fun Music and Drama filled evening, you will enjoy performances from Band, Choir and Drama. Proceeds from this event go to purchase sound monitors for the cafeteria and other equipment to benefit all of these performing arts groups.

BELLA VISTA BAND CRAB FEED Saturday, March 3, 2012
Divine Savior Church Tickets for the Bella Vista Crab Feed can be ordered now via the website www.bellavistaband.org and will be available for pick-up soon.
The Crab Feed is our largest fundraiser of the year and each Band and Auxiliary family is requested to sell 5 tickets. Funds raised will help us get off to a good start for the 2012-13 year.
This year's menu includes Tortilla Soup Frisee Salad with Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette Corn Bread Muffins Tri-Tip with Santa Maria Black Beans
Dungeness Crab
Buy your tickets now before the price increase! .. Tickets are $40.00 ea. through February 19 February 20 ticket prices increase to $45.00
An easy way to invate family and friends to this event is via email. Attached is a flyer containing all of the event information that you can include with your email or print and use as an invitation to hand out to neighbors, familiy , friends, and co-workers.

Winter Percussion T-shirts
We will be placing one order for Winter Percussion T-shirts. Every student will receive one t-shirt. If you would like to order an extra shirt for your student, or a t-shirt for yourself (mom, dad, siblings, grandparents) to support the band during competitions, Order today. T-shirts are $13 each ($3 extra for 2XL, $4 extra for 3XL). Put your money in an envelope, and print your name, phone number and shirt size(s) on the outside. On Feb 4th Bella Vista will be hosting the USA Regional Drill Team Competition in the large gym. Come and see over 20 dance teams from Northern CA compete in divisons such has Hip Hop, Military, Character, Novetly and Lyrical. Please come and enjoy a day of dance and support the Bella Vista Dance Team and Bella Vista Band by purchasing some goodies from our snack bar. USA will be charging a $9 entrance fee. Competition starts 8:10 am and will go until approximately 5:30 pm (Note-solos routines will be first with team dances starting around 10 am) |

BV Bronco Booster Club (BVBBC) Scholar-Athlete Scholarships
Seniors, if you have participated in varsity sports, band, pep arts or cheer for two years including your senior year, have at least a 3.0 GPA and your parents are members of the BVBBC, you may be eligible for a scholarship ranging from $500 to $1500! Great job to everyone. We reached our goal and sold 501 Entertainment Books – that is over $7,500 to student ledgers and the band/color guard.
Each student was asked to sell a minimum of 1 book and we had 36 students who sold 5 or more books.
FREE incentive books (for every 5 books sold, you get one FREE book) will be available on Monday, October 10th at the end of the Booster meeting, make sure to stop by and get your FREE books (if you sold 5 or more books). With the FREE incentive books, you can keep it for yourselves, give it away as a gift or sell it and deposit the $30 into your student ledger.
If you sold on-line books please contact Sue Schooley and let her know which city you sold the book for so you get the credit to your student ledger.
Congratulations to the following students who were the weekly winners of the $5 gift cards to Jamba Juice and Starbucks: Scott Cryderman, Alexis Kazeil, Kira Regan and Megan Silvernail.
Also, CONGRATULATIONS to the following students who sold the most Entertainment Books this year:
1st place: Megan Silvernail sold 32 books and will receive a $25 gift card from a local store of her choice
2nd place: Alexis Verity sold 30 books and will each receive a $15 gift card
3rd place: Kira Regan who sold 29 books and will receive a $10 gift card
Again, THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this annual fundraiser. I have a few Entertainment Books left if anyone still knows someone who needs to purchase a book.
